1. Do I Need to Make a Reservation?

Being the premier field, many times we do fill up with bookings. Booking guarantees that the equipment needed will be set aside for your group.  Also, pricing discounts are only applicable to groups that have made reservations in advance and have paid the deposit.  We do reserve 20 rentals for walk-ons. They are available on a first come, first serve basis.

2. Is there a minimum number or age of participants for a Group?

Yes, the minimum number is stated on the particular group package when booking. Minimum age for paintball is 10 years old. Our Pee Wee group package (a different format meant for 7-9 year olds) is for 7 years old and above. You can book your group for any number of participants over the minimum. Maximum limits vary.

3. What times can I schedule my party?

Our paintball field operates from 8:30am until 4:30pm every Saturday and Sunday, and weekdays by appointment,  year-round. Depending on type, Groups can be booked to arrive between 8:30 and 1:00. Please allow 3 1/2 to 4 hours for your group, unless extra paintballs are purchased. With the exception of Pee Wee paintball, you can stay and play until closing if you desire.

4. I'm Ready! How do I book a Group?

Determine the approximate number of players and schedule a date and time using our online booking feature. Available times will be shown. booking times taken, as well as amount of rentals available, will be shown. Follow the prompts until you reach the payment stage. A deposit will then be required to complete transaction. NOTE: Being the most popular field, please try to book your party well in advance as we do book up quickly at certain times of the year.

5. I just booked a group. Now what happens?

You will receive a confirmation e-mail. Within that e-mail will be a reminder to get the participants to fill out a waiver. Although anyone can just go to our site to access the online waiver system, we provide a convenient link to your party that you can send to the participants. Waivers must be filled out prior to arrival to avoid delays to your check in process. Please contact us if the number of participants change, 985-809-7668

6. What is a waiver? Who has to have one?

Every participant has to have a waiver before playing. The waiver explains the risks associated with paintball and/or airsoft. When signing the waiver, you are agreeing to play with the risks involved. Players under 18 years old must have the parent or Legal guardian fill out one for themselves and attach the minor child within their form. Our waivers are good until the next March 1st. This is when our insurance renews.

7. What happens on the day of my event?

You will come into our registration trailer and identify yourself. We will show you where the tables reserved in your name are. Birthday party groups will have additional tables for food items, if necessary. After you feel that everyone in the group has arrived, you will notify us. We will then check that the waivers are filled out for all participants. Remaining fees will then be paid. Equipment is issued and a detailed orientation will follow. After that, play begins.

8. Do you have or provide food or drink? Can I bring food and drink?

Food is available for purchase. We also have a snack and drink machine. In our staging area we keep 5 gallon coolers of water at all times. No package includes food, cake, or drinks. You are encouraged to bring your own food and drinks (no adult beverages are allowed) or other necessary items should you wish. Pizza can be delivered as well.  Birthday Parties: We will provide a picnic table for the food portion of your party, as well as staging tables to set up your paintball gear.

9. What is your cancellation policy?

We have a 72 hour cancellation policy. Please call 985-809-7668 to cancel prior to 72 hours to receive full refund of your deposit or to reschedule. Cancellations less than 72 hours will result in the loss of your deposit. Rescheduling with less than 72 hours from your play day may result in the loss of your deposit. That loss of deposit will be on a case by case decision.

10. What is your rain policy?

Rain is so hard to predict at times. There are many paintball safety factors to consider besides the threat of lightning. If we feel that rain is imminent and will be ongoing, we usually close the field. We contact all parties to communicate each others thoughts and to reschedule when necessary. Sometimes we give the option of taking the chance with us if the weather is too unpredictable.

IF you are already here and we have not discussed an option, here is our rain policy at the field: We play rain or shine as long as it is safe. If it becomes unsafe, we close for the day. If you have received less than one (1) hour of play time due to the rain, we will offer you a rain check for your field fee which will be good for your next visit. There is never a refund for paintballs purchased but they can be used on the following visit.

11. How long does it last? How long can we stay?

Our packages with 500 paintballs usually will last 3+ hours, depending on breaks, games, and aggression level. There is no set time to leave other than our closing at 4:30. Come early and play all day!

12. What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, MasterCard, Visa, and American Express are accepted.

13. Can I bring my own paintballs that I purchased elsewhere?

No. Paintball Command is a field-paint only facility. We want to ensure quality and safety. We use top quality paintballs which is carefully stored, rotated and temperature/humidity controlled. This means that you and all of the other players benefit from paintballs hurting less when being inevitably shot. We do allow returning players to use paintballs (after inspection) they purchased from us on a previous visit.

14. If I am not playing, can I stay at the field if I am with someone else who is playing?

Yes, in most circumstances, we will allow you to stay in our staging area while your family members or friends are playing.

15. Can I drop someone off and come back at the end of the day?

Yes, you can drop someone off as long as they meet the minimum age requirements and have a current waiver to play at the field.

16. What skill level do I need in order to play?

Every play day we have both first-timers and experienced players out at the field. Players are divided into teams as equally as possible. Almost all of our games allow the player to be as passive or aggressive as they desire.

17. Do you sell equipment and accessories?

We keep an inventory of major equipment such as guns, hoppers, masks, tanks, etc. We also have accessories such as paintball grenades, smoke grenades, barrel swabs, lubricant and more.We sell all major brands and can order anything not seen.

18. How fast are markers/guns allowed to shoot and in what modes?

Except for the tournament field, all markers are set to a maximum of 10.5 balls-per-second in semi-automatic mode only. Semi-automatic means one pull and release of the trigger yields one paintball shot. All markers are tested and adjusted before play. Marker velocities have to be below 290fps.

19. What do we wear?

For first-timers, it is best to wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt or sweatshirt that can be removed between games. A hat or knit cap helps as well. Tennis shoes or boots that can be cleaned are advisable. Our paintballs do not stain clothes. Just wash promptly. Note: In the warmer weather, many seasoned players do play in shorts and a tee-shirt.

20. Will the paint wash out of my clothes?

Yes, it washes out. A paintball is simply a gelatin capsule that has water soluble, non-toxic, biodegradable liquid which can be easily washed out.

21. Do paintballs hurt when they hit you?

Kids ten years old come to play and enjoy every minute of it, so it can’t be too bad. At worst, it feels like a towel pop but that usually goes away in seconds. Some say it feels like being popped with a rubber band. A closer range will slightly magnify the feeling. If you get shot at very close range (0-20 feet), it can leave a red welp and can sometimes be painful. That's why we enforce a 20' surrender rule. We use top quality paintballs which is carefully stored, rotated and temperature/humidity controlled. This means that you and all of the other players benefit from paintballs hurting less when being inevitably shot.
